Need advise on push/pull configuration...

Ok so im about to purchase an Antec H20 620 water cooling unit and some quality fans. The Scythe Gentle Typhoons seem to be the best choice due to excellent static pressure.

However im wondering which rpm to get 1450 or 1850 or a mixture of both? I would like the system to be quite.

Would it be possible to have the 1450rpm (push) and 1850 (pull). 1850 doing the pulling since its harder to pull the air through the res. Or have the same rpm on both push/pull for the most efficiency?

I know it sounds like im trying to be too specific and worrying too much on minor things but I have a tiny case and lots of power hungry hardware. And maybe OCD.

Thanks

When you do a push pull setup, you need the fans to be the same speed.

x2 1850 rpm fans + a fan controller = problem solved.

ok thanks, what about the difference between SGT 1450 and 1850 rpm fans, much difference in relative noise levels? I don't want to go by manufacture figures, just on personal opinions

Is it possible to measure rpm through the mobo while using a fan controller to adjust speeds?
