Motorola Motoactv
Quote:
It's official, Motorola's just officially unveiled Motoactv (not to be confused with these guys), its very own music and fitness device. The little running mate sports a 600MHz processor, runs Android and weighs a healthy 35 grams. It'll apparently track your heart rate, and log running, walking and cycling statistics, and packs GPS to track your exercise routes. The Nike+ competitor is unsurprisingly sweat and waterproof and can hold up to 4,000 songs. It also offers FM radio and audio "coaching," which updates on pace and distance, for those who need a little inspiration in their routine. Moto's also outing a pair of accompanying Bluetooth headsets, the SF700 and SF500. The Motoactv will set beat-bumping runners back $249 or $299 for 8GB and 16GB, respectively.

Motorola RAZR
Quote:
This newest addition to Verizon's Droid lineup boasts a Gorilla Glass coated, 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display -- a first for any mobile handset atop a dual-core 1.2GHz processor. Although the RAZR may look like a Kevlar-wrapped, slightly warped Droid X with its 7.1mm skinny silhouette and familiar topside hump, the insides tell a different tale. Joining the list of well-heeled specs, are an 8 megapixel rear camera capable of 1080p HD video, 1GB RAM and 1,800mAh battery. Moto's also included in Lapdock 100 compatibility, converting this latest red-eyed beastie into a power user's best friend.

If it looks like the Droid X, and the only difference is more power, then that RAZR is mine. I've been in the market for a new phone for a long time now, and I'd rather eat my socks than buy another Blackberry.

1.2Ghz dual core... 1GB RAM... 8MPixel...

Is that pretty good for a phone?

Yea, they just posted some interesting benchmarks..but don't mention what they are for..lol

It depends on what 1.2 dual core they are using..it will be a high end phone either way, specs are identical to S2..but probably won't be using Samsung processor.

And yes..the Blackberry keynote is the most boring keynote I have never seen..only people to be excited might be devs..if they can get excited at all..lol

The RAZR does look very good. Problem is that it is coming out pretty much the same time as the Galaxy Nexus unless all the rumors are wrong.

Nexus advantage:
  • Curved Glass
  • ICS
  • NO locked bootloader

RAZR advantage:
  • Solid build
  • More Enterprise options
  • Accessories galore

I am leaning quite a bit towards the Nexus.

After the nightmare of correctly flashing my friend's droidX, unless these new Motorola phones are not locked-down, I will be getting the Nexus.

So, the Galaxy Nexus and the Droid RAZR have pretty much the same specs, hardware wise? Sigh, the Nexus doesn't even have a Micro SD slot! frown.gif

Also, is this a world phone? I'm asking because of this.
