PSU for new build

Thread Starter
Hey there i was wondering if 600W is enough to power a 2500k @ 4.5 ghz and a GTX 460, this is the PSU i am looking to buy.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-17139028-L05B

comes out 39.99 after coupon/MIR. Thanks would appreciate the help =).

a quality 600/650w could run SLI your fine, nothing to worry about. If you're only looking at a singel card you can always get yourself a quality 400/450w PSU which will be more than enough for a 460.

The CX 600 is an average 500W PSU and a very poor 600W one, the 12v output is a bit low for GTX 460 SLI especially if you intend to overclock.

So it's alright for just a single 460 & overclocked cpu?

Yes, but the Antec NeoEco is better and it costs about the same or even slightly less.

Yes it'll be all good for a single card, I would however recommend you to head over to the psu section where you'll be able to find more info.
