CCC 11.10 - Apply/Discard doesnt work.

Ok so lately, or since AMD switched to the "new" control center the control center has been buggy for me.

Especially Overdrive, I use two monitors so when I am going to sleep I clock the Core/Mem down a notch in order for my 5850 to sit at idle 2d clocks i.e. 167/400.

And then when I am ready to use it again I turn them back to default, this no longer seem to work. Whenever I press apply, nothing happens, the button is still green as if I havent pressed it, discard does nothing, defaults does nothing.

Clocks are stuck on 167/400.
So I cannot get them back to the original dualmonitor 400core/1000mem.

I also try turn on / off overdrive using their new feature with a slider. Doesnt help anything either. I tried restarting the PC, doesnt help.

Now I am stuck with a flickering main screen whenever I move a window, scroll, resize it, watch a video or do something else.
(OH AND WILL THE MONITOR / GPU BE DAMAGED DUE TO THIS FLICKERING?)

Oh and if I try this in MSI Afterburner, nothing happens there either. I can control the fan and all, but not the core clock or mem.

I am really considering throwing the card out the window just because its pissing me off right now with AMDs poor poor pooorly coded softwares.
This has been working for quite a long time, and randomly it does, but sometimes, like now, it wont work at all.

Have been using a custom bios since I got the card, its only for unlocked core/mem and I believe volt.

IF ANYONE HAS A CUSTOM BIOS FOR A SAPPHIRE HD5850 REFERENCE MODEL WITH UNLOCKED CLOCKING AND IDLE CLOCKS FOR DUAL MONITORS FIXED (NO FLICKERING) PLEASE DO TELL.

Edit: OK now I cannot change ANYTHING in CCC. For example the Video Settings (Avivo thing) if I try to change gamma and apply, nothing happens. Apply button is still as if I didnt click it.
No effect on ANYTHING.

Remove that preview drivers and clean it with this (also, remove Afterburner - when prompted to keep settings, select "no").

Clean it with Atiman Uninstaller v.6.0.0.msi. Download LINK (Run it with administrator privilege. Some antivirus software will give a false positive. Let it restarts to complete the uninstallation).

Install Catalyst 11.9, no preview drivers.

My 58xx stock BIOS, no registry edit works perfectly fine with multi-screens.

I did this, without the software.
But I installed the preview driver again, but this time without CCC and only the driver.

Now it works using MSI Afterburner, however if it starts screwing around again I'll try your option.
