Help selecting a good case - Page 2

I recommend the corsair 600 or 650 series cases. In your budget range, good build quality, sound is minimal and the airflow is great. I run a H70 at the back and my is exhaust out the top and it's nice and cool inside under load.

Corsair 400R. $109

I've heard and read great things about this case. Planning to get one myself in the future. I don't know. Give it a look at least?

ever since I got my case I always recommend the Corsair 600T especially over the HAF X or 932.

With the 600T you get great air flow, huge fan in the front and on top, rear exhaust. Dust filters all over the front, and a dust filter for your psu so it does not choke on dust or animal hair. Cheaper than HAF X, has great rubber grommets for your cable management, lots of room for cable management. The side panel is a latch type so it does not need to slide of you can just pop it off. The window can be removed so you can attach a mesh type metal grill and add 4 more fans for additional air flow.

And the customer service you get with corsair is outstanding. I received my case and it had a couple little smudges on the black trim on the side panel. I contacted them to see if they could do anything for me and their immediate response was to provide them with shipping information so they could send me a new side panel.

Although I am sure cooler master makes a good case you need to consider the fact you are playing a large amount of money but they neglected adding some air filters so you can have your components kept safe from dust. you might not think dust is a really big issue but i will tell you, I constantly remove the filters from my case and blow them out and there is LOTS and LOTS of dust and cat hair ( and this is in a really clean home). The psu is a big thing when considering a dust filter. I have removed it a couple of times and it kills me to see just how much my PSU would be sucking up if that filter was not there. I think its a bad move on CM's part to sell a computer case for as much money as they do with as much open air flow but not include any filters, for that price they should be included.

This is just my 2 cents though and everyone prefers something different, so with that being said if you can live without the filters and you love the look of another case then go for it. I can always try to cut out pantyhose and do something on your own for a filter.

(this is the one I own)

Another for the 600T. Here it is at Tiger Direct for 120 AR with free shipping.

Cable management is so easy and clean it isnt even a chore. Sleek sexy looks, and amazing features on the inside. Check out the link in my sig and look at all the picture links in the OP. All great looking, amazingly clean builds. And has great airflow if you replace a couple fans.

EDIT: you can mount an H100 in the top, but can only get fans on one side. Which shouldnt be a big deal if you use the right fans. PWM fans FTW
