I got a tall order

ok guys i have been pondering this for while now and well i need some input from the good old overclock community. What I'm looking for is a motherboard with socket 775 ddr3 and 2 pcie and supports crossfire for a good price

these days DDR2 is so expensive its not even worth paying the price for what you get and since i just bought a Q6600 and i have 2 hd5750 sitting here and just ordered a 680 watt psu i might as well look for a new mobo that supports ddr3

anyone have any ideas

thanks but

DFI LANPARTY LT X48-T3RS <---- impossible to even find anyone selling this board
ASUS P5Q Pro Turbo <-----DDR2 motherboard price tag $95+ (im looking for DDR3)
Gigabyte EP45-UD3P <----DDR2 motherboard price tag $150+ (im looking for DDR3)

and i did mention a good price im not rich and cant afford to spend alot on a motherboard

i guess DDR3 is a tall order DDR2 is expensive but i guess i have no choice anyone know a good cheap motherboard that supports Q6600 atleast 8gb and crossfire?

Well a good 775 is hard to find, impossible to find new..

And yes, they are expensive, not worth to get at this point in my opinion..

But if you really want one then there are few to choose from:

P45 Chipset:

Gigabyte GA-EP45T-USB3P (P45,DDR3,supports CF)

Asus P5Q3 (P45,DDR3,supports CF) CLICK FOR REVIEW

Asus P5Q3 Deluxe (P45,DDR3,supports CF)

X48 chipset:

Asus P5E3 Pro (X48,DDR3,Supports CF)

Asus P5E3 Premium (X48,DDR3,Supports CF) CLICK FOR REVIEW

Asus Rampage Extreme (X48,DDR3,Supports CF) CLICK FOR REVIEW

I have P5QC (P45, DDR2 + DDR3) and it's OK with this Kingston RAM kit (2x 4GB 1600MHz CL9 HyperX)..

But this P5QC does not support CrossFire (it has only one PCIE x16 slot)..

But certainly these DDR2+ DDR3 motherboards are very RAM picky..

That's an awful motherboard..

1. Not for OC (only has 4 Phase power delivery for CPU w/o cooling)

2.P35 chipset not good for CrossFire as it's 16x + 4x on the second slot

3.An entry level Asrock motherboard
