No I don't... I said companies. Samsung like others seem to enjoy copying Apple's design choices then acting like they're "universal" designs when their own products were completely different beforehand. Google, an American company, decided to duplicate the iPhone's success with Eric Schmidt on the Apple Board of Directors at that time. Just like Gates did after being hired to program for Macintosh.

I will agree there are more Apple haters on OCN than just about anyrhing (except console haters maybe), however that doesn't mean that he should act as if Apple is perfect. Even many of the Android fanboys I've seen are willing to admit to imperfections in various Android-based phones and the OS itself. I implore people to expand their horizons a bit a try to be less one-sided. This may sound crazy but you'll find me in threads both harping and praising iPhones and Androids (PCs and consoles, AMD and Intel, AMD and Nvidia, COD and BF3). People on OCN need to loosen up and see the pros and cons to each side and realize you're allowed to like both.
I didn't say that though. Oh and I'm not one sided either, I'll gladly admit Apple's faults or Android's achievements, and so on. To note, sometimes it's hard to discuss anything Apple when there's so many haters bashing them all the time -- you can get fed up pretty quickly.

You make it seem like all great ideas are created in a vacuum of their surroundings. Back then in the 1970s and 1980s, people shared their ideas even with other companies. That is how Jobs got the idea of a GUI from Xerox. However, it was all Wozniak's work. Jobs was not great at creating the hardware or software; he was just good at marketing to consumers.

Nowadays, the tech industry is cutthroat and people do not share ideas. Things have changed. Now we have brandtards proclaiming one company is original and the other company are copycats. Imagine how science would develop without sharing of ideas.

I guess Atari should have sued Commodore and Nintendo for copying their idea of a game console.

Does anyone else think that sometimes companies pay employees of other companies to sneak stupid stuff into their advertisements?

Why do all of these electronics companies rip off of Isaac Newton... I mean cmon they say that Samsung stole this screen shot, or Apple stole their name from The Beatles recording company Apple studios and even took their logo too... but lets face it, nothing is original except for maybe..
1.) The woman of willendorf
2.) Stonehenge
3.) 25,000BC Cave Drawings
4.) A lot of Greek/Egyptian architecture
Ipad... Galaxy Tab... rectangular thingy with electricity inside.... square piece of wood struck by lightning... whats the difference?

I'll concede you're not even on the same level as ForumViewer, who is fanboy supreme on these forums for Apple. You do seem to be a little bit more level-headed. I also agree about trying to defend something that OCN seems to have a blind hatred towards, I find myself defending Apple in some cases just to try and balance the threads filled with hate.

What I would really like to see is some of the Apple fanboys step across the aisle, so to speak, and bring up some of the good things about PCs and Androids. Let everyone know they're not just mindless Apple zombies. This goes for the other side of the fence as well, PC and Android fanboys need to see that there are benefits on the Apple side as well.

In other words, you support individuals that go against the ToS. You are just another member that adds to the decrease in professionalism this site exerts.

This is the reason. The apple crusaders search for this. You've just admitted that you search to continue to provide a childish environment because someone doesn't like your product. These apple crusades need to stop.

Both of you. This is an absolute joke. If someone doesn't like your product, then accept it. It's called tolerance, deal with it.

The amount of misinformation you spread about apple on these boards is horrendous. The monitor quality, the OS's behaviour, blah blah blah.

I agree Lordikon, and is basically what I was trying to say at the beginning of the thread. Have a love for technology itself, and don't concern yourself with what other people are using, especially not to the degree of negativity and flaming that it usually turns into.

Here's another instance of a Samsung store using Apple's App Store and Safari icons:

How anyone can defend Samsung nowadays is mind-boggling.
Your ignorance shines.

Safari uses webkit. Android supports webkit. You can get Safari (webkit) on your android phone. And although the program is not "safari", websites read it as "safari". How can you stop open-source code? What a joke.

Next?
