How did your phone get stolen? Also calling the campus police? They will never reply back to you for something such as a stolen phone

Obviously someone who buys a 300 dollar phone compared to a 30 will probably take better care of the expensive one

You're more safe with iPhone + GPS remote wiping control.

In term of data. But stolen phone will never be recoverable unless you have the time to track the thief by GPS.

Not really. IMO if you're the kind of person that "takes care of stuff" you would take care of the $30 phone as well as you took care of the $300 phone.

Am I the only 1 that uses a regular old cell phone to just call people? Everywhere I go I see people walking staring down at their phones and having zero interaction with anything. If I really need to get online for something before I get home I can always just hop on my laptop. I don't understand the need to be "connected" 100% of the time. I'm not talking about people that need them for business purposes where you need to be in contact with people or $$/production suffers. I'm talking about everyone else that walks around on facebook all day long. To each his own I guess. Anyway back on topic:D good luck finding/replacing your phone.

But at least the phone won't be a some big profit for him, that model always in on sale for like $90 new no contract. The service is suspended, and the Google account is logged out on it now so all he can do is sell it.

Alot of these scumbags often know that they won't make huge profit off of what they steal - mostly because they lack the knowledge to properly price the stolen goods, they'll also be anxious to take whatever they're offered, either to feed their greed or some drug habit.

Aside from that, they almost always steal for the thrill.

...thats just what i've seen, anyway.

I do my best to not give cell phone companies my money. Never bought a smartphone. If I had one, it would be to hack wifi.
