Enermax T.B Apollish 140 or Be Quiet 140 USC

Thread Starter
Need 2x 140mm fans and can't decide which to grab. Apollish has nice LEDs, more easy cleaning and is quieter. Be Quiet has better airflow, better bearings and probably better quilt quality. The latter cost 3$ more. Need help to choose

If you're using them in a case as intake/exhaust fans, and you can use a 120mm fan instead, get a Thermalright TY-140

If it's for a Heatsink, get the TY-140's

If you can't get the TY-140's but it's still for a Heatsink, then get the TB-Appolish fans. They've got greater static pressure.
If you're going for pure quiet as a case fan though, the BeQuiet!'s would be better than the Enermax's in that regard.

If you care about a quality bearing with little to no sidenoise, the Silent Wings plays in another league compared to most other 140mm fans, including the Enermax and the Thermalright.
It's pretty much my favourite 140mm fan, period. And i own a good amount of different fans.
If you use them as case fans and want a silent system i would run them @ around 800-900rpm, wich is enough for most systems.

Yes, I'm looking for exhaust/intake fans and was also considering TY-140, but I don't have free 4-pin connectors on my motherboard.

They work on 3 pin headers as well.

Yeh, I know but won't it be loud at full speed?
And how to connect 4pin PWM to this 3pin extender, cause one pin is blocked by extender construction? If I broke the side wall will it work?

TY-140 is not loud at full speed. It's like 21db @ 1300rpm.
