Their customer service I was subjected to sucks. I'd rather be subjected to Indian customer service for 12 straight hours, than 30 seconds of fcpu including the time it takes to pick up the phone. I got passed around to different people, it's common thing with them. Even Marc will put you on hold for like 10 minutes, that's after he gives you that sweet New York/Jersey attitude, then someone else picks up and tells you that "he left the building". Rude jerk. I just use their site as a conglomeration of different suppliers products, and for some specs. I wouldn't buy anything from them even if it was free.
You see like 20 reviews in a row with 1 star....I think the rating side is broken to have 5 stars. Maybe they take out the 1 star reviews as "statistical aberrations".
Here's another site. After today with 4 bad and 3 good, I'm sure it will jump to 13 good. Wait...how many employees does fcpu have?
It does no good to put complaints against business at the BBB. I did and they listed that they helped resolve the complaint. I emailed them the complaint was never resolved through them, I had to do a charge back to get 100% of my money back and they still listed the complaint has "resolved" Here's why "BBB Accredited Businesses pay a fee for accreditation review/monitoring and for support of BBB services to the public." They are basically there to negotiate on the business' behalf.
So if a business suddenly gets an F rating, guess what, they stop paying the BBB. LOL Even if you press hard to put a complaint against a company, if they want to keep getting money from the company, they will list the complaint has "resolved" and based on the ration of resolved to unresolved complaints, they will get an A+.
The only positive thing that place has done is load out hardware samples for different sites to do reviews on. But that's not being a good Samaritan, that's just good business sense in hopes that review site owners will cut them a detractors will fear the wrath of an admin for talking smack .
