FrozenCPU Review (done with them) - Page 3

Never had an issue with FrozenCPU, but I've not made any large multi-part orders from them either.

Their customer service I was subjected to sucks. I'd rather be subjected to Indian customer service for 12 straight hours, than 30 seconds of fcpu including the time it takes to pick up the phone. I got passed around to different people, it's common thing with them. Even Marc will put you on hold for like 10 minutes, that's after he gives you that sweet New York/Jersey attitude, then someone else picks up and tells you that "he left the building". Rude jerk. I just use their site as a conglomeration of different suppliers products, and for some specs. I wouldn't buy anything from them even if it was free.

You see like 20 reviews in a row with 1 star....I think the rating side is broken to have 5 stars. Maybe they take out the 1 star reviews as "statistical aberrations".

Here's another site. After today with 4 bad and 3 good, I'm sure it will jump to 13 good. Wait...how many employees does fcpu have?

It does no good to put complaints against business at the BBB. I did and they listed that they helped resolve the complaint. I emailed them the complaint was never resolved through them, I had to do a charge back to get 100% of my money back and they still listed the complaint has "resolved" Here's why "BBB Accredited Businesses pay a fee for accreditation review/monitoring and for support of BBB services to the public." They are basically there to negotiate on the business' behalf.

So if a business suddenly gets an F rating, guess what, they stop paying the BBB. LOL Even if you press hard to put a complaint against a company, if they want to keep getting money from the company, they will list the complaint has "resolved" and based on the ration of resolved to unresolved complaints, they will get an A+.

The only positive thing that place has done is load out hardware samples for different sites to do reviews on. But that's not being a good Samaritan, that's just good business sense in hopes that review site owners will cut them a detractors will fear the wrath of an admin for talking smack .

I've ordered from them twice. Shipping was by the end of the business day, exactly what I ordered, and packaged appropriately. I've ordered about $200 from them. I'm sorry to hear about this OP.

About the review sites. I'm glad I'm not the only one who experienced this. It's like they pay someone to go on there and battle all bad reviews with false information to get rid of the bad. My reviews on a few sites were falsely flagged and removed and that site they pay to be on for reviews will fight against the reviewer if its a negative review. So those sites are so rigged its all bull****. It's been a good week that koolance has accepted my rma and fcpu still has not given my money back. They have one more week till I ask my bank to pursue it. They've known for at least two weeks now that it was being sent back as I sent them a picture of the UPS shipping label going back to koolance.

Your right about the BBB. Thats the dumbest company ever. I wasted $350 one year for a membership for my company just to give them a try and see what all the hoopla was about, and they are all bs. Promises to give your company more exposure and fairness. Haha Yea they are a waste of time.

PS. Some of the specs on their site aren't even right from what I've seen so far.

Why are you dragging up a three year old thread? Once again these problems are with the manufacture of the part and not the reseller. Frozencpu did not make your faulty connections, the manufacture did so call them and complain. Also frozencpu does not control the mail so your product not arriving on the day you thought it would is no ones fault but the service used to ship the product.

Why are you reading a three year old post ? I was browsing what others thought of frozencpu's service i felt i would share my experience. But for me i now do have good news I called them again friday and spoke to the right person, they forgot to send the light do to hoseclamp and light complaint at the same time and they simply forgot they sent me two lights and a tshirt woohoo, they arrived this morning.... As for the clamp situation Bucky tried putting the 3 parts together to no prevail except clamp high on the barb i dont trust that as they may pop off my blacktape trick is holding up well and as i said i will shop there again with better service. Bucky did put the hoses together and did see what i was talking about ,That is what i wanted and why i dragged up a 3yr old post., Thanks for your thoughts even tho you dont get it !!!!

I don't think they've changed, it's still the pubonic plague of customer service. Every place you order from is guaranteed to screw up at some point. With Frozencpu, it's the disgusting customer service that makes the difference.

Sidewinder sent me the wrong item, I emailed them with a picture of what they sent, they sent me the correct item right away and appologized. I didn't have to return the wrong item, either. That's customer service. If it had been frozencpu, it would have probably been a "go ahead, try to do a chargeback"
