WD TV Live Help

Thread Starter
I just bought this today. Got it all hooked up. I want to be able to stream movies from my Macbook Pro to this. Both are connected via wi-fi (till I get a longer ethernet cord).

Problem:
My WD TV sees my macbook, when I click on it, it asks for a password, so I enter my username (noah) and my password (the one I use to login to my mac) and it always says either "invalid username and/or password" or "unable to connect blah blah blah"

Am I entering the wrong username/password? That's the one I used when I set up sharing for my account. I have file-sharing set up properly via SMB.

Please someone help, I don't want to return this, and even though most the time I'm gonna use files off a hard drive directly plugged into the WDTV I wanna be able to stream!!!!

Read the manual, it should say what the password is for default.

Either try "password" or input nothing.
