If you really like a multi-gpu setup why don't turn to Intel platform?
I liked the price of the AMD over intel i7s. I really wanted to do one of the Sandy Bridges.

My plan with this system was to use one card. I was only going to use two 4850s till i bought a 6000 series or 5 series for the right price.

I just found out yesterday that one of my soldiers is selling an intel board with an i7 lol. Not sure what the stats are of them but they are over a year old.

Going to RMA the board tonight and get a new one. I appreciate all the help and fast responses.

Ill update you on the status of the cards after he tests them.

Yea just RMA the board, there is nothing much to fix at a user-level. If you really want to get your hands on to replacing the chips, I can lead you to it. I never succeded, though I know how to do it and what to replace. I always ended up with more damage parts in the process lol

Alright an update on my problem, still not fixed. I sent in the MB to newegg and the sent me an email saying it has been "Repaired" and they ship it back. It takes forever since i live overseas and it was during a holiday weekend. I get everything installed back in the case boot the system up and it does the same exact thing. System boots up passes POST loads all the way into Windows with no Video..... Great. So guess i have to RMA it again and cross my fingers they will send me a new one....

At this point i just want to send everything back and get a refund.

Ill post another update in 20days when i get my next "replacement" board.

If it gets to pass the POST screen but unable to load Windows, it could be the boot drive not recognized by the motherboard.

I would set it correctly in BIOS and reload Windows.
