Some suggestions on Upgrades for Rig

Thread Starter
I've been adding parts to my current rig for about 2 years now... slowly and would like some recommendations on perhaps what i could do to make my Rig better for gaming.
I feel that what i have now works pretty decently as I'm able to max out Metro 2033 and have zero lag. I haven't test FPS yet on this game. Im not trying to just blow $ on parts i don't need but would like some direction.
I know a new Mobo supporting AM3+, memory and perhaps a better CPU. Maybe another 6870 in Xfire?

go for X4 955BE or X6 1090T, I can't recommend at disappointing Bulldozer.
mobo for CrossFire, you'll need 990X or 990FX chipset. List in my head is: GIGABYTE 990FX-UD3, ASUS M5A99x-something.
Memory DDR3-1600 4-8GB in pair.
1 SSD for OS
I see you use only 20" 1600x900 screen so I don't sure about GPU selection.

your PSU is still handle this system.

Good Luck

I built a killer 955 system, that chip ran a VM that ran a web spider, while I gamed, and not once did I feel it was struggling.

I personally would keep the exact setup. Then OC the crap out of it.
