Have at it!

But let me save you some trouble on the second part:
Control Panel > System > Advanced System Settings > Performance [settings] > Advanced [Virtual Memory > Change] > No Paging File

Some will tell you that setting your system to use no page file will cause instability in the fabric of the universe and you will be the cause of our mutual destruction, but to my knowledge the only specific program that has a problem with it is Microsoft Flight Simulator. There may be others, but challenge anyone who warns you off to name one. I'm confident that he or she cannot and that he or she is speaking from his or her posterior.

Personally I think Cross Firing 6900 series cards is overkill, unless you're running EYEfinity 5760x1080 or 1920x5400 resolution with a Directx 11 game. Update your system specs on your profile so we can see what 6900 series card and Power Supply you're working with, because if you are dead set on CFing 6900 series cards you're gonna need at MINIMUM an 1200W Power Supply (PSU) Gold Rated seeing as how full load CF 6970=722W and i7 980x=210 watts at stock frequency (722W+210W=932W).

I've followed your commands. Don't know what it does, but I did it!

It's a 1000W PSU. 6950's. I updated my system sig.

Oh, and why so cheap? Well, I was going to originally use his Newegg card. I only planned on using about 2K to build a new system. And that was only with like a 560Ti, i7 2600k, 16GB of RAM. Sure, what I was going to build was great, but for less money I've gotten something way better. He sold it to me since he was looking to switch, and get the new Mac Book Pro.

Basically, disabling your page file keeps your system from using the hard drive as memory. When computer systems ran with a small amount of slow memory, it was necessary to run programs smoothly. Now that you're using a very large amount of incredibly fast memory, using a page file monumentally slows your system down at worst and uses up your drive space at best. Best to just disable it, as you have done.

Enjoy your new system!

Very good. I'm a little weary with my bios. Every time the pc boots up, it's a green screen, instead of the black background. Even for the Windows Boot Up animation. Any reason at all for that?
