Needle nose pliers might work too, so you can try and grip one of the arms and pry it off the other.

So they can be pulled sideways so as teeth just slide off without needing to be pushed vertically? if I understand that correctly it makes perfect sense and I see why they are called re-usable, thanks again.

If the horizontal sliding method works then hopefully it shouldn't be too difficult and I will not need to prise them, probably will need to grip one of the clips sides though so might need to use small plyers and a flat screwdriver.

I push the inner part of the clamp out to the side with a small flat head. I bought the same clamps with my first set up. But personally I didn't like them. They look ugly, are a pain to get off in a small spot. The first time you have to drain you will understand why.

I have slowly transferred my rig over to compressions. Just so much easier to work with. I buy the xspc ones as they are cheap but work great.

Its pricey but I was just grabbing two at a time when I would order something. Just something to consider.

If you haven't already done the task and figured it out by now that is exactly what I meant, slide the teeth laterally so they slide off of each other.

I tried the sliding sideways thing on mine and it didn't work; I pushed until it felt like I was on the point of breaking it and the teeth were still not clear. I was using Swiftech ones, prehaps they are harder to undo or maybe I just needed to force them a bit more.

The screwdriver trick worked but to be honest I should just have cut them off as I was replacing them with spring steel ones anyway. One of those "fantastic work, now throw it in the bin" moments.

Let us know how it goes!
