Suggestions on my 955 BE OC

Thread Starter
I have managed to get my 955 to 4.0 Ghz ( 19 * 210) @ 1.428 Volts. Ran Prime for 14 hrs temps max at 61.5 C ( Ambient is at 32 C), also did LinX 30 runs stable at 61 C. Following are my settings:
V core,CPU/NB volts is in offset mode. C & Q enabled, LLC set to extreme.
NB at 2520 @ manual, HT at 2100 @ manual
RAM 1402 9-9-9-24 2T @ Auto
Temps at idle @ 833 mhz are at 33 C also checked @ 4003 Mhz it is 36 C.
My questions..
1.Are this temps OK?, any suggestions for lowering the temps.. (With room AC on the temps dint cross 57 C with full load)
2. will i be able to run my ram at CL5 @ 1333 Mhz.
3. How to check the CPU/NB voltage reading?

1) better wire mgmt for better air flow. 2) get a better cooler or another fan for a push/pull configuration.

That's a pretty height temp for a phenom though i know that 62 c is the Tj. Max but 55c i personally suggest get some thing like H100 or atleast H60 and try 24/7 Oc use CPU-z to monitor the HT bus and other frequency get AS5 OR MX-2 TIM or on the last count lap ur cpu
good luck buddy
hope that helped u got to go to school caught up with u later

I used the stock TIM for application. My room temps are 32c on idle temps are nearly the same so I think the seating should be pretty fine
will the AS-5 or MX2 help in reducing the temps.

Definitely, any aftermarket TIM is better than the ones on stock coolers.

yes..good tim will help..in all actuality..i'd back off that OC til i got better cooling if i was you..keep it under 55c 62 is too hot! save those settings, though : write them down..i just don't think that's enough metal to dissipate the heat a 125w deneb puts out..doubtful on the fans..i had a monster sink on mine..still got hot

I have 4(in)+2(out) case fan set up(CM 4 in 1 pack + 2 of CM 430 Cabby), both teh exhaust are behind the CPU heat sink to pull out hot air.. (thinking of putting a 80 mm booster below my DVD drive for CPU intake).
