Same thing happened to me home slice. I was lead to believe that if you bully swiftech enough they will send you one for free, but I eventually gave up and just ordered one.

First post here, not trying to resurrect a dead thread or anything, but I am going through the process of trying to get an AM2/AM3 mounting plate for Apogee XT Rev. 2 from Swiftech. I ordered my Apogee XT from Sidewinder on clearance for $45. Even with the Apogee HD out, the XT Rev. 2 is still a nice block and for that low of a price, I jumped. When I discovered there was no mounting plate for AM2/AM3 sockets, I took a 2nd look at Sidewinders product write-up.

The very first line on Sidewinder's site is, "Swiftech Apogee XT (R2) revision 2 CPU water block for AMD and Intel CPU's." On top of that, in their images for the Apogee XT Rev. 2 at the top of the page, take a look at image 6.

Since there is no description of the contents on Sidewinder's product write-up, the title of the product includes, "CPU water block for AMD", and they even have an image of the AM2/AM3 (and other sockets) mounting plate, I went ahead and e-mailed Sidewinder. Their reply; $10 for an AM2/AM3 mounting plate. This annoyed me a bit since they will send a free mounting plate with the Apogee HD (according to their product write-up).

As of now, I have forwarded my correspondence with Sidewinder to Swiftech. I am now awaiting a response. As soon as I hear anything, I will let you know. Sort of ridiculous of Sidewinder to expect you to pay $55 for the Apogee XT Rev.2 and AM2/AM3 mounting plate when they have the Apogee HD for $60 + free AM2/AM3 mounting plate.
