Make sure when you upgrade your PSU you take into account all peripherals you have and such. I had a Corsair 750 (TX) when I upgraded to 6970 CF and I had all kinds of weird problems until I bumped my PSU up to 1020. Mostly the problems were at load so I was borderline with 750. I kind of like to have a little room on top of minimum power requirements.
