Ridiculous why? You dont have to have anything to do with iTunes if you dont have an iPhone. That for me sells itself.

Smaller screen yes, however the resolution perhaps not. Super AMOLED HD uses pentile which I believe is less actual pixels due to the 1/3 of sub pixels.

Also forgetting that, 720P would need to be driven by the SGX 540 in the Galaxy Nexus, the 4S GPU is much more powerful then that GPU, I'd choose the GS2 over the G-Nex if we're talking strictly gaming.

See, that's a ridiculous reason. itunes is really not that bad. Why would you go for the inferior platform for games just because of itunes?

It won't, the problem is that the games market for android is nowhere near as huge as on the iphone. The tools just aren't in place for android and its FAR FAR too fragmented, a game that would work on one phone would be a complete mess on another.

Iphone doesn't have the fragmentation problems obviously and it has all the tools in place to create amazing games, UDK, Unity etc. Android is leagues behind for games.

I was being daft with that reason yes, although I do have a dislike for itunes though I guess this post isn't the place to get into that.
I just prefer my SII to the iPhone. The screen is larger which i prefer when playing games. That's a good enough reason to me to recommend it.

Well done. I haven't purchased anything off itunes either, but its my default music player on my PC. And I don't own an iPod/iPhone but I develop for them. There's no denying it's the better platform in THIS regard.

I would not buy an Iphone because of the continual costs associated . I put 600 games on an android, because it would play flash games, and there were hundreds of little lame but free games available.
But
I cannot see how Any person completly used to an Iphone could possibly move to a different platform, other than upgrading the same thing.
Every smart phone from every different maker and OS did nothing but tick me off to no end, because each one was missing huge features, or had some really stupid crud, or belotion or lockdowns, Getting used to one then getting the better version of it ok. but changing to a different one is like being tossed into a psyco ward with no way out :-)
I cannot percieve that the OP would be happy initially with a change in Wards :-)
