In mirror's edge seeing the flags everywhere and how they react and tear to bullets going through them, and all the glass fragments raining down on you. Then Mafia 2 where there's a bunch of more debris in the environment reacting to firefights and the effect of bullets hitting walls is more realistic. It's really just stuff like that in every game I've seen it in. I don't think anyone should buy a Nvidia card PURELY just for phsyx. To me it's just a extra feature on already great cards.
In Batman AA it looked like the game would be ruined when playing with an ATi/AMD card compared to an Nvidia card, but it was still extremely fun and hardly noticeable (except in certain places where you felt like something should have been there.) I was really looking forward to what they did with PhysX and tessellation on the boss fight of Mr. Freeze even if I wasn't going to experience it hands-on. Possibly seeing randomly growing ice shards on rails, etc.
