IMHO, what AMD ought to do, is drop the competitive pricing formula they've been doing for years. Take their current batch of CPUs, GPUs, and push them into a performance minded direction. I do believe that if AMD wanted to, they could compete with Intel, but it would have to be at Intel pricing to do it. Just saying.

Sounds like good information to me. I am one of those with fingers still crossed bulldozer has some magic bios and software updates coming before I pull the trigger on new mobo/fx-8120.

And just adding the extra 2c here, but I agree. the guy that said amd should scrap fusion is obviously saying that without a scrap of knowledge to fusion's capabilities.

Hiring is just one-step. We need to see tangible results and efforts in preventing management from interfering in the Research & Development process as rumored by ex-employees.
