overclocking i7 860 issues

hello,

I need to have some advise overclocking my i7 860.
First here is my mobo specs :

- i7 860
-MB : Gigabyte H57M-USB3 REV.2
-WD Velociraptor
-GC : GTX 460
-8 GB Gskill ddr3 2133mhz

1--
My first problem concerns my bclk : Reaching a stable frequency of 200mhz, I was unable to push it to 205.
This motherboard should be able to do much well but it seems not.

As I know the only way to stabelize the bclk clock is to higher the qpi/vtt , so I raised it to 1.32v . The system was still unstable, so should I push it higher? is it safe?
p.s: the i7 860 is the first generation i7 core

2--
My second question concerning the highest frequency my i7 can go .

After seting my bclk to the stable 200mhz frequency the system was stable till 3,8 ghz , multiplier set at 19 , vcore 1.3v stable 24/7.

Setting the multiplier to 20 , core clock at 4GHZ the system was unstable even with rising my vcore to 1,36v.
For bios setting I set CPU PLL : 1,8v
PCH CORE : 1.2v

does these setting stabilize my i7 ?
is it normal that at 3,8ghz system stable and for additional 0,2 ghz is not even rasing the vcore for more than 0,05 v?

Am I missing something?

P.S: BIOS SETTING for both question 1 and 2 are:
cpu pll :1,8v
pch: 1,2
qpi/vtt: 1,32v

3--
My last question concerns the load line calibration:
As it mentioned in all posts this future must be enable to stabilize the overclocking prosess.
well in my case as soon as i enabled it my system freezes even in my 3,8ghz 24/7 stable clock.
Putting it on disable my system runs quiet fine.
??? what do you thing?

best regards

the issue is probably not your cpu with the bclk frequency. ram is often the culprit in oc instabilities. try upping the VDDR and see if it is stable. you also can drop the ram divider.

hello ,
my ram is already running at 2000mhz .

is 1.36 vcore high enough or i can push it higher?

BTW I have a watercooling system and cpu temp doesnt go higher than 65 degree full load.

i'm using 22x200 with 1.5v + 1.4v on imc(internal memory controller, isn't it vtt ?) 24/7 stable, with temps don't go above 70-71C(wc yes), but i couldn't get it to boot 22x210 myself too, or 20x210 too... is 200 bclk is the limit for these cpus ?

yes vtt is the internal mem controler .

As long as memory ram are underclocked , runing at 2000mhz (2133 origin) I don't think i need to higher my vtt.

As for the vcore 1,5 core voltage is as i know way way too high for an i7 860 , isn't it?

I need to have feedback for this vcore, so i can try it.
Afraid to screw my proc.

No I can assure you that 200 bclk isn't a problem, just a coincidence.

I used to have this i7 860 working in an asus maximus formula 3 , and working stable for 4ghz.
