Super Picky in need of an HDTV.

Samsung is out of question. I have had the 40" 530 lcd, 32" D4000, 32"D5500, and as of now a 51" plasma in the living room.

The C530 had terrible ghosting as well as the D4000. The D5500 had flashing pixels when the camera would pan around in dark places. The Plasma buzzes and the pixels flash white on a black image constantly.

Had a Sony BX400 with blacks that looked purple, a HX800 that had the best picture I have ever seen but for gaming, there was ghosting which killed it for me.

An LG LD550 which looked good and the best I used for games but the ips panel had a halo effect on dark scenes.

I need a tv with a glossy screen or semi gloss (LG for example) excellent for gaming, led preferred. I like whites to be absolute white like printer paper. I don't use the warm settings but rather neutral or in the middle of cool and warm 1. Size doesn't matter. Price range of under $1000.

Can someone help? Thanks.

I use 2 different LGs in my house. My 55" that i game on is an older model, 55LH90. Its an LED array panel. I haven't noticed any haloing or off color warming in games. Go for a smaller one in the same family. I think the can be found for around $1000 now.

The other is a 37LE5300. Bedroom panel so no gaming on it. BUt i think that class has a crisper, brighter picture than my 55".
