Yes, the picture is the reference design and mostly unlockable. But be careful, most e-store or manufatures are using the reference design picture but the inside is not. So, there is no way to be sure simply by looking at the picture as I have seen many here to find out they are diffrent and non-reference.

Read this ... http://www.overclock.net/amd-ati/114...ence-keep.html ... it seems Diamond & VisionTek are playing around trying to pull a fast one on folks ?

Most likely you're NOT going to get what's pictured !

Most likely you'll end up with this one ...

It MAY or MAY NOT have the Dual Bios switch and thus MAY NOT be Un-Lockable once you get it ? Not sure I'd chance it.

And the TOXIC IS a Ref card btw ... just that it's a HD-6970 Rev.2 Reference card but you can still put a FULL COVER waterblock and back plate from EK on it at least and he's right, about 66-75% of the TOXIC's seem to be UnLocking, it's the Best Bet next to the Original REFERANCE Rev.1 cards.

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16814102951 - NewEgg CANADA has the TOXIC edition @ $299 - $20 MIR, but $13 for shipping ... OUCH!

a more BUDGET friendly option, and ALMOST as Good of a Card, with still a good shot at Unlocking is the other Sapphire 6950 ...

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16814102945 - NewEgg CANADA has the DIRT3 edition @ $270 - $20 MIR, plus $12 shipping

I'd suggest one of those two options personally.

Im not too fond of newegg canada because it always applys an "additional shipping charge" that brings it to around 25$+ shipping. Plus I dont do mail in rebates, they suck. Those 2 6950's are still too expensive, I have decided I am not getting the diamond or those two, because other 6950's can be found for around 220$.
