Cream of the crop! - Page 4

You would know if you needed a 990x. Go with the Sandy or wait for the 3960x. Waiting could be very cool. I have both currently side by side, I can only imagine combining them both.... 3960x looks to be it.

will Sandy Bridge 2600k do the job for me?

Yes, a 2600K will be more than enough. A 2500K will be fine if your just gaming. Also there is no such thing as an Antec 1500w PSU.

EDIT: And my chip can't do 5GHz with voltage under 1.4v (My safe voltage limit). Temps will be fine, Sandy Bridge doesn't get real hot.

This kid is an enormous troll. Every thread he creates, he says "i want the absolute best of everything, tell me what it is". He obviously has no idea what so ever on whats going on, and wants to do little to no research on his own to find out. Do some searching on some of is past threads, they are all like this. I highly doubt he owns anything, he just wants to know what the best of everything is and pose like he has intentions of his parents to buy it. Lets not feed him.

Isn't the 2600K meant to be the best ever. Well up until the release of the 3600K.

Its silver stone by the way i made a mistake with that. I am overseas and my rig is at home in the states.

I dont remember exactly what brand it was till a week ago when i called my wife to check it for me.

Dont pay attention to my current rig as i am doing away with AMD for good. They have let me down for the last time. Im getting all new gear now.

2600K For Sure!

And good work on sending the Fail Dozer back to AMD.

28 years old USMC overseas doing your fighting for you so you can make comments like this that have absolutley nothing to do with the thread, is completely unhelpful and a waste of time for myself aswell as others on this thread to read.

Show some respect and grow up.

WAIT HOLD UP

Best bet is to wait for SB-E and get top end 3980X.
