HAF 922 Horizontal

Thread Starter
I just got an ASUS Xonar DX. Since my mobo is tiny, and my 580 is gigantic, the only place the DX can go is directly below my 580, which is fine. However, said 580 droops lower than it should, and the fan rubs on the DX.

This is likely a dumb question, but is it detrimental to set my case on its side and leave it like that? That's the only solution I can think of, aside from returning the DX or buying a different board/580, neither of which I want to do.

Thanks.

no harm in it, just not commonly done. You could try bracing the card up with a wooden dowel or such.

You can get PCI ribon cables so that you could move the sound card.

If there's no harm in doing so, I'd rather just set it horizontal than shove wooden sticks in it/buy more stuff. I may reconsider if I kick it one too many times at night.

Thanks for the responses guys!
