gigabyte or asus am3+ board?

Thread Starter
ok my last motherboard was a turd that likes to catch on fire so im taking it back to micro center for 60 bucks off my next one. i picked out two different ones.
gigabyte 990fx ud3 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128514

or the asus m5a99x evo am3+ both are around the same price was just wondering which on you guys would recommend over the other, which one can handle overclocks better, is more durable, and is all around a better motherboard for the price. was more leaning towards the gigabyte because it has the newer chipset in it, but im open to suggestions. thanks all

As much as I love asus and they are my favourite brands of mobo's.

the 990fx ud3 is simply a good board which you cant go wrong with and with the black theme I would get that one

from doing some research on it it looked like a solid board and its also cheaper at micro center and supports bulldozer with the 990fx chipset im leaning more towards the gig
