Hello OCN, I´Ve seen that Zalman Added a Review From a Webpage And they Compare it With a Noctua CPU Cooler Which is NH C14 and CNPS12X outperforms it with 1°C less ,They were using a Phenom II x6 1100T, Do you Believe that the CPNS12X fails on Intel Plataform(1155/775) vs NH D14?

I for one am not surprised. Zalman needs to abandon their philosophy of making things look pretty and start making heatsinks that can compete with the big boys. At $90+ US it should be beating out the D14 and the SA, but it can't even compete with the C14. Very disappointing.

Not surprising at all. Zalman hasn't had great coolers for awhile. Like LtCheese said, they worry more about looks than performance. All the heatpipes in the world can't make up for that lack of fin surface area.

Also, assuming this is a flagship product (which it is) and it is highly priced (highly likely) - you don't even get to pick your own fans and having 3 will just add extra noise for very marginal benefit.
