going insane build planning....

Thread Starter
so yeh, i want battlefield 3 in surround/eyefinity and my build plan just keeps going around in circles :/

started with
-i5 2600k w trifire 6970
then to
-i5 2500k w trifire 6950(bios flashed)
then
-i5 2500k w gtx 580 3gb sli (driver issues with amd, and physx is pretty cool)
then
-i7 3820 w gtx 580 3Gb sli (to be future proof with tri-sli or even pcie 3 for next gen)
then
-i7 3820 w 7970 xfire coz of pre-christmas next gen rumours
then
-i5 2500k w 7970 xfire (gen 3 mobo)
then
-i5 2500k w gtx 580 3Gb sli (if rumours are true its likely tobe 78xx only)
then
-i5 2500k w gtx 6990 xf (not much more expensive than 3Gb 580's now)
then!!!
-i5toiu45nfiwerbvfoebleirfvb **** nows (6990 xf would be a cooling nightmare and loud as hell)

so! my final plan is, well... i don't know. stick to 1 monitor till next gen arrives? lol

Well if you want surround thats a lot of pixels so you definatly want lots of VRAM at your disposal. What system have you got at the minute?
