Stick with your 2 2Tb Cav Black - performance won't make difference.

Get the new D's, RAID 10 them, and enjoy your performance and data insurance.

I was thinking about grabbing 4 D's and doing a RAID 10, would that give me noticeable performance on my Steam folder (1Tb) than my current 2Tb Cav Black? Also it would give me mirror so I would be able to replace my drives and rebuild if anything died correct? Right now I am just doing manual backups every week or so.

I vote for Hıtachı, but you need only two pieces for raid0 and WD 2Tb for backup.

The Hitachis are great. I have 2 of them. But you are gonna have to wait now since Newegg just limited the HDD's to 1 and increased prices.

Concur on the Hitachis in RAID 10. You can't beat 1TB platters.

Hitachi all the way. Sometimes I wish WD didn't obtain their HDD department.
