cpu bios temp and core temp are different why ?

i was wondering why in by bios my tempature is 40 degre and in core temp program i have 28 ? which one should i trust ?

I personally trust Core Temp a bit more. My motherboard temps are usually way in the danger zone when they shouldnt be.

do you have a special way to put the cooling paste or is it posible that i srew it to tigth and not good for cooling paste ?

Bios temp readings are reported by the cpu socket sensor. Core Temp reads off of the cpu's calculations of core temp.

Rely on Core Temp, or HWMonitor.

Rice sized grain in the middle of the cpu. You are going to want it tight, but not so tight it breaks something. LOL
