Best card for ~$250

Thread Starter
Ok so this will be my first build, and I want to know what card would be my best option for gaming at a res of 1920x1200.

My parts will be

i5-2500k
8GB G.Skill 1600 Ram
ASRock Extreme4 Gen3 P67 Mobo
Corsair AX750 Gold

I can go over $250, but try to stay below $300

best setup would be 2x gtx 460. It's 10% more powerful than a single 570.

For a single card set-up, you can try a 6950 2GB model or the 2GB model of the 560 Ti.

I chose the top rated cards for each one on Newegg for the sake of guaranteed awesomeness from whichever one you might choose.

Picked up my Sapphire 6970s for ~$300 each from Amazon if they still have the prices that low grab one imo.

If you really want to stick to your ~$250 Budget get a 560ti

I'm another vote on a GTX 480. They can be had for a little over $200 used, and are really not as hot as people make them out to be.

I love my asus card in my sig rig and it fully flashed to a 6970 easy. Its a beast and great cooling as well.
