So the decision has been made, I'm going to be moving to a new case, but still mATX
. All of the components will remain exactly the same, only the case will change, and it will still need a little bit of fabbing to bit the rads. After a little more planning and measuring I think I will order the case tonight or tomorrow. I'm going to put a bit more time and effort into it now that I'm moving to a new case. I was pretty rushed on this build in order to get a working computer up since I gave my backup rig to my dad. To facilitate this, I grabbed this little fella off of the forums:
Its a modified SG05 to fit a full size ATX PSU and a full size GPU, since it comes with the mobo, RAM, and PSU it will then be getting an i3 2100, an HD 6870 and one of my spare 2.5" HDD's to use as a reliable backup for basic gaming and whatnot.
I also have these on the way from our very own Lutro0 (and part of the reason for wanting a better case to show off the gear):
They look great, and he built them live on livestream so I could watch. I highly recommend them if you're looking for some nice extensions.Edited by Scorpion49 - 11/14/11 at 5:31pm
