8150 pulls 80 watts more then a 2600K at stock speeds and like 200 more watts overclocked

I heard that amd cpu's aren't actually that cool, that it was a sensor issue. And amd haven't ever really been very power efficient. The original i7's just sucked a lot of juice and therefore people thought that intel was the better performer but also much hotter and consumed more power.

The last thing BD is is energy efficient.

Well maybe I was mistaken I always thought that AMD was more power efficient. But I can tell you that my 1055t runns much cooler than my i7-860. My temp right now on my 1055t is at 28c and my i7 would be at like 38c to 40c and under load my 1055t only hits 46c and the i7 hits 98c to 99c. both with stock coolers and both with no case.

Your i7 hits 99 CELSIUS? Are you daft?

I do not see Bulldozer worth getting anymore. The upcoming Ivy Bridge CPU 22mn uses 77watts at stock. if 2500k (sandy bridge) is beating out FX CPU, the Ivy Bridge is about 37% faster than Sandy Bridge in average and way less power consumption even at overclocked.

How will Bulldozer stand against Intel next year 2012. Its pretty much way far behind.

That's how I view it at the moment.
