It allocates some of your ram as video ram, My theory is low res = high fps, most people on the forum run at 1080p which is 2073600 pixels where as you are running at 1049088 roughly half of the pixels, which is why most people expect you to get half or less performance. For newer games add in a faster dx11 video card and you should be able to play them (with the exception of bf3 which eats anything that isn't a quad for breakfast(or a high clocked dual i.e I3))

Okay thanks. I will not be running those games at 1080p should have cleared that up aye? And i only have 2gbs of ram so it takes about a gig. That kinda dumb.

To answer some of the questions in here....

1) A GT220 isn't powerful enough to even bottom out modern games like BF3 or Skryim (spelling?).

2) A GT220 is essentially a 9500GT, which is essentially an 8600GTS. Its a very low end card.

3) You can max out Call of Duty because the engine is based off the COD4 engine from 2006. So yes, your low end card can easily do that at a low resolution. My old 8600GTS could do it EASILY at 1440x900, maxed out.

4) Your card doesn't support DX11. You have DX11 installed, but you can't use it. DX11 is standard with Windows Vista and 7.

5) I don't think the OP is trolling, just asking a legit question. If I see you guys trolling the OP again, I will infract.
