I've got C, V, M, the "L" on the left Ctrl, and A of left alt already faded. I've owned it in less than 1 week. I just play starcraft for 2 hours a day. Other than that, I only use the mouse most of the time - or am using my HP touchpad.

Do you think WASD will replace this?

I was hoping that it would last a few months before it fades. I was also expecting that "A", and the number 1,2,3 keys would first fade since I use it a lot for Starcraft 2.
That's not normal. Could you post up some pics perhaps?

Hey thanks.

I actually tried taking a picture but we don't have good lights here at the house. I might have to wait tomorrow for natural light.

However, I tried taking a picture now but I'm not sure if you will really see it.

Here:

C1.jpg

and

c2.jpg

If you'll see it, the lower part of the C is faded. The upper part is still good. But this is worse in real life. I just realized how frustrating it is talking picture with very low light (flash doesn't work).

I'll update tomorrow with hopefully better pictures.

Yeah, that's not normal at all. I had a similar issue with some PBT keycaps on a Ducky, luckily OCN/TankGuys have good customer server. With the track record that WASD has I imagine it won't be an issue getting those replaced.

I really hope so. They seemed so nice when I called them to inquire about their products before I bought it. I guess we'll see what there going to do about it on monday.

Thanks!

Thread Starter
Updated the OP with my thoughts and impressions of the WASD V1 Semi-Custom. I also purchased a RK-9000 and I will update appropriately when I get my hands on it.

@keplenk-
Those fading keys are bad news! Definitely unusual, and I'm sure WASD will help you out. Keep the updates coming!
