Best netbook for $300?

Now I currently have a 1215n that I have had for about year but really it is quite underwhelming. It can not watch HD videos at all and is just all around laggy. Do you think that I would benefit from selling this netbook and getting a new one or are all of then still this laggy? (I have also been considering a tablet but I believe they are out of my price range)

I got this at my local CompUSA for $300, and I have to say it's amazing for the price.

My friends are surprised at how this tiny netbook plays League of Legends just as good (or probably just as bad) as their laptops do. If you can get it at $300 like I did, it's a definite bargain.

The E-350 APU in that netbook can do anything HD. Not great for gaming.. but it has the best graphics for a netbook.

Easy choice: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834215067

Just upgrade the RAM.

it doesnt get much better than the 1215N, I tried one of those, and then I tried a netbook with the E-350. they are identical in gaming. so no it doesnt get better than that for a netbook.

where it gets better is if you get a CULV laptop, I sold my HP DM1z (E-350) for a m11x, and after doing that, I will never get a netbook ever again. nothing beats having a m11x for the size, I got mine for $480 (after tax and shipping)

so if you still want the portability and the batterylife, but you want more speed, get the m11x, nothing else warrants your attention because you already have arguably the best netbook out there. so if you cant buy one now, just wait and get one when you can afford it.

heres a laptop thats $380:

great for HD, but not for gaming, it has a i3, but for gaming your 1215N is better.

did you read my post? you have the best (basically the best) netbook still, there are no better netbooks out there. you need to move on to a CULV like the m11x or the one I posted to get more performance, but be prepared to pay more. that laptop that he posted is worse than yours. any netbook for $300 is going to be worse than the 1215N, you have the best atom cpu, and a ION chipset, it doesnt get much better than that for a netbook.

on the 1215N you can overclock the cpu and gpu for more speed and maybe format it and put the latest drivers on it. I remember I had my D525 run at 2+ ghz without a hitch. but that wont make it much faster though tbh. you need a CULV cpu for that.

You asked what is the "best netbook for $300"; the problems you have with your current setup has nothing (zip, zilch, zero) to do with my answer.

Did not connect that I need to upgrade the ram on the netbook you listed.
