Need help deciding PSU for my rig

Thread Starter
Ok so i'm building a computer to leave on 24/7 but also for gaming. I am also going to plan to OC my cpu so i'm wondering which psu would go best with my computer. I might SLI GTX 580 later on but going to stick with 1 for now.

Specs:
GTX 580 Lightning
i7-2600k (Probably OC to 4.5ghz)
Corsair Vengeance 8gb (2 x 4gb) 1600
P8Z68-V Pro Asus Mobo
Corsair 600T White edition
1TB 64 Cache 6g/s Hard Drive
Corsair H100 CPU cooler

So I was wondering what PSU should I get? I'm looking for somewhere around 800+ on watts since I might SLI later on.

What I'm looking at right now is:

Corsair AX 850w

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...5&Tpk=AX%20850

or

Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 800w

MY recommendation would be the Corsair. Wonderful piece of work, fully modular, pre sleeved in black and has a 7 year warranty! It will easily handle Sli 580's

Oh and I'm kinda of looking for a Gold grade PSU because I kind of do want to lower the electricity bill but if that isn't going to make a difference between the other grades then fine throw any PSU at me.

Seasonic Platinum 1000w or 860.

OP.
Even under a hefty full system Overclock, you can run that system with a good 650W unit with lots of room to spare.
Pick up an XFX Core 650w if you want a good PSU with corsair quality for a better price, or a Seasonic X-650 if you want a gold rated unit.

Both will give you more than you need.

Only buy the 850 if you WILL 100% be going SLI.
Otherwise it is just a waste of money.

Since the difference in the prices is minimal; I absolutely recommend the Corsair HX 850W. It is by far the more reliable brand (compared to CM), not to mention that its actual capacity is 1200W.

Also, I agree with the poster above, if you don't plan on SLI, 650W should be enough.
