Deal with it.

Lets not forget who the first poster to call people names was.
Ok but in every single MW thread the same posts are being posted over and over about BF3. The MW3 discussion didn't even last a page before a BF3 comment was made. How many times do people have to repeat themselves over and over?

I also apologize for the name calling as well I believe that was uneeded

8 kills and you have every perk? Overpowered crap game. Saving my money for Skyrim.

So stupid always the BF haters have to show up in every MW thread. Always compairing two differnt types of gameplay. If I hated the game as much as you guys I wouldn't even bother to read the thread. LOL

I don't think games can be overpowered.

Well if you die you restart, so it's pretty fair TBH. Since that's the whole point of being that class. At times it wont be fair for the player using the class.

This whole "BF3 OHH lets crap on MW3" thing is annoying. Between this and the amount of poo people flung during the BF3 beta, people are just plain mean.

Both have decent points. Unlike say Faildozer vs. Sandy Bridge, it's not like MW3 promised to deliver the holy graphical prowess of BF3, nor has it touted a high focus on team play. MW3 looks presentable against BF3 and good otherwise, but in the end it offers a different sort of gameplay than BF3. If I want to fly jets, drive tanks, and execute grand flanking maneuvers, then I'll hit BF3. If I want my twitch shooting, king of the world, e-peen growing frag fest, then I'll hit up MW3. They both have their merits and cons:

- MW3 probably won't shake the feeling that it's like a rehashed MW2, which in turn is a rehashed MW, but MW2's community (on PC) is pretty dead, (same for BF2142), so if I want to experience that sameness, it's either back to 4 or forward to MW3, and MW3 has some interesting new mechanics as presented here.
- The BF series has always had crap netcode, and their release day products are sometimes...like they shouldn't have been released. The beta probably turned a fair amount of people off, but it's beautiful, and once things work out, it's a very good objective based shooter at worst, and all out WAR at it's best, and BF3 is bringing it out

Without MW3, BF3 wouldn't be swinging out with such a hard marketing campaign and trying so hard to be as good as can be. Without BF3, I'm pretty sure CoD wouldn't have implemented a support killstreak set. Competition is good, and they both have merits.

So in the end, this whole argument sounds like you guys are justifying your purchases one way or another, and well since I got em for $48 each, they both will probably take at least 200 hours of my life, and both will be money well spent.
