Yup, TBH, to me you can't really go wrong with Asus for a board. You have the right mindset as well regarding the PSU, it'll help once you decide in the future maybe upgrade more parts later on, maybe grab a stronger GPU or such.

Also if you're really looking to spend, I'd suggest grabbing an SSD as well.
