iOS vs Android aside, the last thing I want is to see ads every time I look at my phone too.
Then if it bothers you that much (which it shouldn't, you're just blowing it out of porportion) you can download ad-free from the android market, and it will block all in-app ads. It's free, and doesn't have ads.
Or you can just edit your host sessions file and block ALL ads everywhere.
OCN has ads, are you thinking about leaving for another forum that's a little less 21st century?
When it comes down to it, I'd rather have the choice to either pay, or not pay for an app. Ads are an afterthought, and can be dealt with accordingly if they really make deciding difficult. Unfortunately I doubt the app store will ever come to be like android market...the sheer fact that developers have to pay Apple to develop for their platform won't be driving app prices down, that's for sure.Edited by quentin - 10/27/11 at 3:11pm
