well im not sure i can use it but i have it if i can, lol. i was thinking about those SSD drives but i can't bring myself to spend that kind of money for such a small amount of space. i have noticed that some say to get a small one for windows then a normal HDD drive to store the games, that just doesn't make any sense to me.

Spending $60 on an OS only HDD will have MUCH greater gains than an extra 8GB of ram

If you cant use the RAM this is very true. I would aim you towards a Crucial M4 64Gb model for the OS. You can get em on sale sometimes for pretty decent prices. Its the perfect size for OS, Some programs, and say your current favorite game?

i don't know i just don't see the point in it is all nothing else will run faster just the OS non of your other programs or games that need to be put on the regular HDD. granted it would be nice to have the windows load in a few seconds instead of minutes.

I thought you got a few more FPS in games as well when running an OS off an SSD as resources get freed up due to faster operations? I'm not a big gamer, I fall in the super casual gamer area so I could be very well misled.
