Curious about your experiences with linux drivers

Thread Starter
Recently, I've moved away from running my home linux machine in a VM to a dual boot and I've been having nothing but headache after headache getting the Radeon drivers to fully function, first it was a problem with dual monitors, then I found issues while playing minecraft.

So, have any of you tried to use your ATI/AMD cards in linux? If so, how well did everything work for you?

Being a very light Linux user I can't say I stressed the graphics card in any way, but as far as I need it things went smoothly. The card was recognized (sig rig) in Ubuntu 10.04 LTS and web browsing / office stuff posed no problem. I haven't tried to game as Windows feels better adapted for that. My 3 cents
