not too sure what I'm looking for, is that good or bad? I haven't tried oc'ing or anything yet because I've been having trouble which which temps to trust too. I have a xigmatek dark knight on it now since it's all I had, I assumed it must be better than oem air cooler. I installed it with tuniq tx-4
this is what HWMonitor says when under prime95 load, does that look right? seems low doesn't it?

He posted link where you can see test of almost every single 8150 VID chip.

You should use that asrock monitoring utility or download very last version of any program like AIDA64 (version 2.0), because older versions have trouble with reading temps.
And as far I can see in your test, 61C in full load prime with that cooling its what ppl will get with that VID chip. And I still didn't get far what is max safe temp for processor and what is max safe temp for core temp (what I got so far, core temp should be under 62C and cpu temp under 80 C or so)Edited by Vecera - 11/20/11 at 3:33am
