The graphics sure are meh, but it's kind of the style of this game, old retro type feel to it since the story is supposed to take place in the 50s. I do agree that unit 13 looks much better, hell unit 13 is basically a striped version of socom. I thought I was bored of it but I went back and played some and wow. It is just so tactical, completely the opposite of CoD. I love that fact, you actually had to use tactics and skill to win.
I guess I'll hold off until another FPS hits the scene. E3 is right around the corner. Hopefully Sony has a bunch of killer titles saved, or else the vita is doomed. I won't be getting MGS, already have it for PSP and PS3, exactly the same and honestly the graphics don't differ TOO much. They're fun but I want a true FPS.
Resistance demo short as it may be felt sweet. I can't wait to enjoy more FPS on the vita.

Hopefully something like Killzone gets announced.

Or maybe some gameplay footage of COD Vita?

Assassin's Creed 3 will be headed to the PlayStation Vita, but it may not be the title we once thought. Rather than a direct port of console game set to release later this fall for Xbox 360 and PS3, the PS Vita will be getting an entirely separate game titled Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation.

Featured in the latest issue of GameInformer, according to a NeoGAF user, Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation will feature a female assassin who goes by the name Aveline. (Note: apparently she is half French/Black!) It appears as if the game will be set in the same time period of Assassin's Creed 3 - during the years 1765-1780 (around the French and Indian War). However, this story will take place in New Orleans and apparently have no connection to Desmond, though I predict some connections with the console game will be made. Liberation will also take players across the Gulf into Mexico.

Sony press conference, first one of such I've ever watched. At the very beginning he started with something like everyone judges these E3 presentations. There will be talks about who won, who lost E3. Then, for half the presentation he proceeded to stuff words in my mouth. Chances are, if I'm watching this broadcast I know what Sony is, and I don't need constant reminders of what Playstation is.

Sony, you want to win E3? This is what you should have done.

Get on stage, say hello to everyone and thank them for coming. Start right away with PS3 game announcement, followed by a brief intro by the dev ending with a live demo. Move on.

PS Vita, announce the games, actually SHOW some gameplay footage (black ops...common Sony, even a 5 second clip, boxart, game art...something to get people excited)

Now announce whatever else (give away those 1 year PS Plus to people who probably don't need it if they are attending E3), and end it.

That is how you win E3. We don't need to hear you boasting about Sony/ Playstation. Otherwise I think it was ok, a couple of things for the vita announced, this holiday season should be good!

That super smashbros Sony version is just TOO funny. Looks exactly like the nintendo ones, gota love that hahah.

Hopefully we hear more about new vita games soon. Wasn't there supposed to be some sort of bioshock in development for the vita? It seems sony just doesn't want people to be excited about the vita.

I think CoD will be...well not so good for the vita. They showed only a logo, a very poorly made logo imo. It looks like someone made it on paint in the back minutes before the press conference. The lack of even screens, details and everything suggests this is going to tank hard. I mean, Sony knows its consoles are not selling as well as they hope. They know CoD is one of the money making franchises, so why did they choose to not show anything? Is the game still in early alpha where screens can't even be shown? There' no real direct competition so hiding and holding back just makes no sense. I hope I'm dead wrong and we will start seeing some gameplay in the coming months.

Although Sony did a couple of puzzling things during, especially the amount of time devoted to the storybook. I understand, it's kind of cool but only to a 5 year old. We know the move is not as well received as the connect and that you guys need to push it, but really? Who over the age of 16 will sit down and "play" something like that? I'd understand if Nintendo did it, their much more casual. I guess they are trying to appeal to a wider range of audience.

Those people at E3 were expecting big blockbuster gaming news. New God of War, Killzone, etc, lots of PS Vita games announcements and footage to show people that the vita is not a failure, and the best is yet to come. It's almost as if they don't understand what E3 is....but they clearly do as the opening sentences were the dude saying how important this stuff is, and how people will judge them by what proceeds.

I really just don't understand Sony.
