My 1st reaction on ps1 games: nice, more options.

Now I'm more like: would I actually want to play a ps1 game? Frankly, I don't think so...

I'd rather look forward (soul sacrifice, silent hill, ragnarok, escpe plan), or at least play updated ports (persona 4, f1 etc). I have more games than time anyways.

My 2 cents.

Shame not many good games out for Vita, was SO looking forward too the Silent Hill BoM game until i saw how much they murdered the game and the series that game is AWFUL. Personally i love the classics like Crash Bandicoot, Final Fantasy and such might even pick up a couple of random ones as well smile.gif

Well, I admit I do miss ff9.

As for current games, we have a nice, if not long, list. I'm still optimistic.

But... Why not? Could you give me your top 5 ps1 games?
It might help having a backup gaming list biggrin.gif

I'm downloading FF7, FF8, FF8, Crash Bandicoot 1, 2 , 3 and Rayman was hoping they have Nightmare Creatures on there as well that was a classic as well, but unfortunately its not frown.gif

Oddworld, Pandemonium, Resident Evil 1 and 3 (doesnt have 2 yet) Silent Hill and Crash Team Racing and Driver are all classics as well. Might not have the best graphics but they have something some games today dont have - A Good story

Gotta love it, they finally release PSClassics (about 6months too late) and even then they managed too mess it up - ALL the games play in a VERY small screen dont even use the full screen of the Vita totally useless and too be honest a complete and utter disgrace considering that they took so long just too release them at all and they still managed too get it all wrong.

Is thier any way too make the games so 1 they dont crash when you open them (Crash Bandicoot) and NONE of the games i PURCHASED actually use the screen - Crash Bandicoot 2, 3 Final Fantasy 7, 8 and 9 ALL are basically just squares and totally wasted on the screen and they kinda seem WORSE then the original in terms of looks as well - I mean Could Play ALL these games on the PSP full screen - so what do you have too do to get them working and at full screen on the Vita? Anyone know?

you have to do a long press on the screen and modify the options. You can zoom, full screen and so on.
At first i was also stunned. But after i found out i could change the screen setting i was Like " Yeeaaaaah".

Yeah found it out in the end, kinda stupid it is set too "small" from the start - Glad it has the option, i know its nearly impossible but it would be great if you could get PS2 games working on it, that would be sweet.

1) The option is there because some games do look stretched with it so they give you the native resolution first, it is well documented that press+holding the screen will give you a menu, also I'm pretty sure the patch notes told you how to adjust them.

2) You say gameS but only list one, are there anymore? Maybe try posting on the PSBLOG site so that a Sony rep can see the issue and report it.

3) Are you always typically this negative?

4) It's not impossible to have PS2 games on it, they just have to be recoded, seems like they're trying to get some PS2 releases out as HD remixes also keep in mind there maybe licensing issues to get a game on PSN i.e. Rival Schools isn't there for this same reason.
