Because there aren't as many vita's as there are phones and tablets. Therefore in order to make money on games sales the prices are higher. Plus I guarantee the vita version is superior to the iPad version in every possible way.

yeah the iOS game is ONLY racing, no open world driving at all. THe vita version IS the console version, with a few tweaks to keep performance up on handhelds, such as less traffic on the roads.

Not the same game, I really don't like traditional gaming on phones/tablets. Games like trial Xtreme, world of goo, you know nothing graphically amazing but just fun gameplay for when you need to waste a few minutes.

I'm really loving NFS, 6 and a half hours and having a blast just driving around and racing.


I wonder how bad CoD will be, what's the point of 4 player multiplayer? Unless the map is just a corner, and each side spawns at one end. The fact that they deliberately mentioned that they focused on the multiplayer tells me that's a excuse for when people say hey what's with the really poopy singleplayer?


What a shame.


How long does it take to finish assassins creed? I really want to pick it up, just the reviews. Is the paddling with the back touch screen that bad? If it was well done I suppose it could be decent.

I haven't actually gamed online at all with the vita. I really want that nyko power grip, but can't seem to find a place that sells it in canada. The battery life on this is pretty sad, I'm going on a trip soon and could use some extra power. I guess I could always buy it in the states when I get there...still, why no love for Canada?

The only reason I havent played online is because for some reason my university network doesnt support the vita, so I can only use it online when I go home or when I turn my computer into a hotspot...
But I just ordered gravity rush so I'm excited for that as I only have liberation from the bundle I ordered...

watch in 1080p.

The only thing I am pretty confident with is that it'll have worse textures and more jaggies perceived in real life hands on.. as these videos tend to hide those blemishes well enough.. saw a texture pop in too but doesn't seem too bad.

When do you guys play these?

I used to have a PSP, and there was one time that I got good use out of it. on a flight and at the hotel before going to bed. this was in 2006.

fast forward to today, there are plenty of stuff on smartphones/tablets that can keep me going. but I don't really have time to get on a portable system and play games.

just curious when do you guys play.

really long train/bus/subway rides to work? while taxi is driving you somewhere that takes a while? in bed before going to bed? in between classes in school?

I just can't see why I would spend the money because I can't seem to think of time to play.
