Its a portable system so really anytime. I can't stand phone gaming, yes its impressive but most are not that powerful yet. I like mobile games a lot, stuff like trial xtreme, world of goo. Not the traditional FPS, RTS,etc.


I play whenever, sometimes watching tv, before class if I have to drop off my gf too since her class starts 30 minutes before mine. Basically anytime you have to kill. I really enjoy racing games, so I've put alot of time into f1 2011, and now getting used to the arcade feel of NFS.

That CoD gameplay vid, although online does have that CoD feel to me. The jumping action and such even seems very similar, hopefully they can pull off a decent title.

We make repeat trips between Wisconsin and Florida, but most of my play is when my wife's watching something on TV I don't care for.

Do you always carry a bag when you take your VITA out or have good sized pockets?

Do you own a higher end smart phone that plays something like Infinity Blade, Dark Meadow, etc.?

Really curious.

(I don't own any cellphone at all.. PSP is still the way to go for me.. VITA library is still lacking for my taste)

I mean I own a smartphone, but I'm more inclined to kill the battery of my gaming device than my phone. I use the phone for quick games when I have maybe 10 minutes to kill...anything over that is vita territory

I go to university, my bag is big enough to fit my Asus G73, transformer tf300, my vita (bought a $20 carrying bag, has room for game cartridges and IR cards), in my pocket is my cell phone, HTC amaze 4g. Oh and a few text books haha.

I just don't like mobile games that try to mimic a console experience like Modern Combat 3. Got it on sale for cheaper than dirt so I can't complain that much but my lord its more like torture to play the game. Dead trigger is decent, but still I can't play it for more than one round.


The vita is nothing short of amazing if you like the games on it. I'm having so much fun in NFS, reminds me of my childhood when I used to play mid town madness all day and night with a buddy of mine.

Anyone thinking about getting CoD? There are more youtube vids of gameplay, if you just search what has been uploaded in the past week. It looks decent, like CoD. I just hope reviews don't go and compare it with the full on console/pc experience.

I'm thinking about getting it...why not? I just recently picked up a vita almost brand new for about 150... This thing is amazing... I'm thoroughly impressed with the damn thing..vita games look fantastic, and I know better than to compare it to console games...just like I dont compare console games to pc.... I enjoy the mobile experience for what it is.... COD looks ok quite honestly

yeah I honestly think COD for vita looks good! As long as they support it with some map packs and stuff, I'll probably get it for the holidays. I expect some black friday deals on it, maybe dropping it to regular vita prices.

PSN is the same as my username here. Add me!

I'm also picking up NFS: MW. I got a PS+ timed trial of it on the PS3, and while i know that it's not the same experience, if the vita game is anywhere near half as fun as the PS3 version, it'll be a good buy.

For the most part though, I'm holding off on the newer vita games until the holidays to see if they drop in price at all.

CoD is going to be 49.99

No zombie mode (replay value), those singleplayer missions better offer amazing replay value. I think I'll pass. Knowing the devs, this won't get a price drop until the next CoD is out.
