Anyone who has Project Diva F, you think it's worth $85 with shipping included? I'm wondering because it might not be worth it. frown.gif

don't think any game is worth that much...

but since you are keeping the old vita why not make a japanese account and use that account with the old vita to download the japanese games digitally ? that way it would be cheaper, no ?

of course that will leave your slim vita with the american account

Region locked is in my memory card. My other 32GB cards are both Japanese locks but the price for getting a JPN PSN Card is too much and using Paypal to exchange USD to Yen is ridiculously expensive... And this is one of the games I want a physical copy of to put on my wall. smile.gif

I'm not a big fan of Tekken, I prefer Mortal Kombat and DOA, I would get it though if you are into fighting games. I didn't want to tell you this since it might make you feel regretful but yesterday, the sale was Mortal Kombat for $11. tongue.gif

Region locks are where the device is in some way locked to your specific area. Common regions are denoted as:
NA (North America)
EU (Europe)
JPN (Japan)
SEA (Southeast Asia)
KR (Korea)

There are obviously more regions but these are the most well-known regions. smile.gif

Some region locks are 'complete' region locks where the locks are on the actual device. So, devices bought in Japan won't work in North America or vice versa.

However, the PSV is not a 'complete' region lock, it is actually a media locked device. This means that the PSV console isn't actually region locked so there is no problem there, the actual region lock is on the storage media. This is better than having the region lock on the device but these storages are crazy expensive so it's also not ideal. smile.gif

Hope that cleared it up for you!

I'm still a bit confused at this lock on the storage. does that mean if I get a JPN game, I need a JPN storage card to save my data, and the game itself (if it's a digital purchase)? and similarly for all other regions? if so, then I might need at least 2 cards, which capacity would you recommend?

Yea, it can get quite confusing, I'll explain it to you. smile.gif

Ok, so each storage is region locked. Meaning if you have it locked with the JPN region, you can only access the JPN PSN store regardless where you are. However, the device can still be put into ANY language you want it, so you can have the storage locked to JPN but still have english or spanish or anything. smile.gif

Here's to answer your other question:
If you have a NA region locked storage and let's say this is your only storage, you CAN'T access the JPN PSN store, however, you CAN play JPN games as long as you have the physical copy of it. You just won't be able to use digital downloads.

As for how much storage, I'd recommend you getting the 64GB since it will last you a long time. I currently have in possession:
1 64GB card
2 32GB card
1 4GB card

I use the 64 and 32GBs, but the 32GBs are both filled with JPN games and anime. smile.gif

1 64GB card
2 32GB card
1 4GB card

I use the 64 and 32GBs, but the 32GBs are both filled with JPN games and anime. smile.gif

thanks again, that helped a lot... thumb.gif

No problem. smile.gif Glad to have been able to help. I recommend you getting a 64GB card however if that is out of your budget since it is $120USD at least, the minimum I would get is 32GB. 4GB is USELESS, and 16GB just isn't enough. 32GB is supposed to handle 8 - 16 full games on it but you won't be able to have any media on it or if you buy big games like Killzone Mercenary, it will only hold 4 - 5 games.
