Yep.. noticed it too.. kinda "stuttery".
There's a small chance it was the video though.

I never found their form factor and the PSP really comfortable so..
I got so bored a while ago I did this for the lulz:
Kinda looks like the Wii-U controller
1. Shoulder buttons
are move more towards the center of the device putting less strain on index fingers than the previous "ear" placement.
Depth/height's about that of the L1 R1 DS3 Shoulder buttons.
2. Repositioned speaker
grills so they're far likely to be covered unintentionally with regular grip and usage.
3. Micro Analog Sticks and D-pad inverted layout
(ala 360/ Wii-U controller) and raised
a few mm higher to the top of the device.
Allows less chance for the "body"
of the thumb to hit the nubs unintentionally.
Slightly more comfortable to use in a small device like this. Kinda like how laptop click bars are bellow actual trackpad xD
(has some learning curve and "blasphemous"
to the Sony controller design)
4. Slightly repositioned camera
. Inverted nub and button layout makes it harder for camera to be covered by thumbs with normal use/ grip.
5. Repositioned PS, Start and Select button
for lesser chance of hitting them unintetionally.
Puts slightly less stress to thumb when accessing although requiring a little more thumb travel.
I know.. it's ugly as hell! xD
